  • The Senior Product Manager – U.S. Downstream Marketing will work within our fast-paced Surgical Cardiovascular team and will be responsible for a range of marketing activities. This is a very exciting and high visibility marketing leadership opportunity. We are looking for a dynamic, collaborative, and strategic individual who possesses strong marketing and leadership acumen.

     

    Job Function:

    • Collaborate closely with the U.S. sales force and other key stakeholders to develop and execute effective commercial strategies to drive business growth in the assigned product area.
    • Develop marketing messages based on regional strategies, knowledge of current literature, current competitive environment, and regulatory/legal requirements.
    • Analyze clinical and market data and perform market research to assess viable opportunities and to measure the impact of marketing programs/campaigns.
    • Interface regularly with customers via field travel, major medical meetings, symposia, and home office visits to better understand and deliver against customer needs.
    • Manage annual marketing planning from strategy development and budgeting through tactical implementation.
    • Determine market research needs and execute as necessary for obtaining information on product portfolio, competitive landscape, and/or customer needs/trends.
    • Serve as the “go-to” mitral portfolio owner. Understand, track and interpret market share, pricing, and competitive dynamics in the U.S.
    • Manage budgets related to product line, campaigns and projects.

     

    Required Education & Skills:

    • Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of work experience OR Master’s degree with 8 years of related experience working in sales, marketing, or healthcare industry required.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proven successful project management skills.
    • Highly collaborative and comfortable working closely with customers and with a range of cross-functional business partners.
    • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Able to effectively shift between high level strategic planning and tactical implementation.
    • Strong analytical skills, including a proven ability to synthesize and utilize market data and customer insights in order to develop effective marketing strategies, collateral, and communications.
    • Strong clinical acumen and ability to come up to speed quickly on new products.
    • Able to excel in a highly regulated, fast-paced environment.
    • Domestic travel up to 25%.
