    Responsibilities and Capabilities:

    This position is responsible for all aspects of Marketing Operations, including creation of marketing collaterals and ensuring compliance with brand identity. The Manager of Marketing Operations will also be responsible for all tradeshows and events including global sales and marketing meetings. This role will own the marketing material approval process and will ensure that all materials that are approved are compliant with all company and federal regulations. This role will provide leadership for other members of the Marketing Operations team.

    As part of achieving these goals, the individual’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following.
    • Marketing Materials
    o Develop marketing materials targeted at the treating physician, referring physicians and patient communities to drive technology and disease state education and awareness
    o Work with internal and external resources to help develop and manage targeted marketing and sales materials, presentations, and related collateral
    o Understand the current market position of /competitive products to determine messaging and collateral materials to maximize market share
    o Liaise with Marketing, Sales, Clinical and Reimbursement to ensure consistent messaging and customer experience
    o Maintain marketing claims matrix
    o Maintain marketing budget and track forecast to actuals
    o Coordinate all printing and shipping of collateral materials
    • Marketing Compliance
    o Own the marketing compliance system including ensuring the standard operating procedure (SOP) for marketing materials approval is up to date
    o Manage Marketing Electronic promotional approval software system (Pepperflow) for all global marketing materials
    o Global marketing operational and quality process and procedures
    o Prioritize approval of marketing materials for regulatory affairs
    • Events Management
    o Develop an annual event calendar, including publishing of objectives, budget, and detailed itineraries
    o Manage all event logistics from booth, messaging, and materials, to special event coordination
    o Work with Sales to achieve maximum ROI with pre- and post-show activities
    o Negotiate and contract all meeting requirements including but not limited to production, hotel, transportation, food and beverage, audiovisual, support materials, etc.
    o Events – manage site selection, venue contracts, event planning and logistics for all meetings and events
    o Manage key relationships with partner organizations such a medical societies or patient advocacy groups to develop focused digital programs

    General:
    • Manage annual Marketing budget, track budget to actuals
    • The person will be expected to follow and support all Company policies and procedures
    • The person must ensure their activities and those of their staff are in compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements applicable to the product lines and markets in which the Company participates

    Requirements:
    • BS in business, life sciences or equivalent preferred. Advanced business and /or medical degree is a plus.
    • At least 5 years’ experience working in life sciences
    • Proven work experience as a marketing operations or marketing communications professional
    • Deep understanding of national and international regulations around marketing communications
    • Experience organizing education and promotional events
    • Experience with tradeshow strategy and execution
    • marketing tools and best practices
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong analytical and project management skills
