  • Position Overview:

     

    This position is responsible for the development and execution of marketing plans for sealants and hemostats to support the achievement of global sales goals.

     

    Responsibilities:

     

    • Collaboratively develop a product marketing strategy for short and long-term strategic marketing plans.

     

    • Collaborate with Sales, European Marketing Managers, Clinical, Regulatory, Legal, Marketing Communications, and Medical Education departments on building an influential medical evidence plan to help clinicians understand, accept and recommend Company’s product portfolio – including differentiation among competing brands.

     

    • Be the subject matter expert for all things related to the products that you manage.

     

    • Assist in creation and delivery of both scientific and clinical product-related presentations.

     

    • Learn the competitor’s products and propose sales and marketing strategies to position and win business with the Company’s product lines.

     

    • Assist in development of marketing labeling and collateral including product packaging/labeling, promotional pieces, videos, website, ads, presentations, trade-show graphics, technical sales aids, etc., in conjunction with the input and approvals from cross functional teams (e.g. Sales Task Force, Clinical, Regulatory, and Legal).

     

    • Conduct market research including monitoring press releases, competitor’s websites/collateral, and journals for new clinical publications and presentations. Create sales training materials that highlight key data and findings and how to position Company products in light of the data.

     

    • Participate in primary market research or in conjunction with third party consultants.

     

    • Assist in identifying, developing, and managing contracts with Key Opinion Leader (KOL) physician consultants (e.g. surgeons, cardiologists, and patients). Co-develop Company approved presentation materials for use in meetings and sales/marketing.

     

    • Assist in development of patient directed marketing content to drive patient demand, facilitate the referral process, and support their post-implant needs.

     

    • Partner with Regulatory, Legal, and Clinical to better understand requirements for globally marketing medical devices.

     

    • Support Clinical business goals (e.g. poster development, white papers, presentations, clinical evidence, market and clinical evaluations).

     

    • Support R&D business goals (e.g. KOL market research, focus groups, business development forecasting/modeling, ROI analysis, etc.).

     

    • Research and report on clinical data (i.e. journal publication, poster presentations, etc) related to the products you manage.

     

    • Complete all required training and comply with all company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Quality policies.

     

    • Assist in creation and recording of online training modules, address questions from the field, and provide ongoing training to Sales personnel.

     

    • Participate in development and conduction of quarterly and ad hoc Task Force calls/meetings with Sales.

     

    • Regularly collaborate with global Sales and Marketing personnel to ensure alignment of goals and to adapt positioning to each market for driving sales.

     

    • Forecast, manage, and track print collateral and product non-sterile demo inventory for Sales, Medical Education, and Marketing, and MarComm (i.e. trade shows).

     

    • Represent Company at key events, functions, trade shows, and forums related to select key customers, accounts, societies, and as required.

     

    • Assist in management of Marketing budget and associated forms for purchasing and payments (e.g. Vendor Request form, Purchase Requisitions, Invoices, Check Requests, etc.).

     

    • Track and report your progress on achieving your stated goals.

     

     

    Qualifications:

     

     

    • Bachelor’s Degree (Advanced or specialized degree preferred, such as Marketing, Engineering, etc.)

     

    • 2-3 years medical product marketing management experience

     

    • Product development, clinician training/education and medical device sales experience preferred.

     

    • Communication and leadership skills

     

    • Strong analytical and presentation skills

     

    • Excellent priority (time), organization, and project management skills

     

    • Travel up to 20% (may include weekends)

     

    • Computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, tablet, smart phone, etc.)
