  • The Senior Manager, Global Marketing Immunotherapy will play a key role in the organization providing global leadership and vision in the oncology and immunotherapy markets serving both internal and external customers.

    Working without significant direction, this high profile role encompasses a number of responsibilities including leading market sizing, opportunity assessment, forecasting, modeling, and ROI analysis for potential new business opportunities; partnering with a cross-functional team of business development, product marketing, research & development, regulatory, clinical, and finance on potential new business development activities of interest; constructing high-level business case reports and presentations to support recommendations for internal, corporate and external audiences, and leading the development and delivery of high-impact marketing programs.

    The role requires a big picture strategic thinker with strong analytical and communication skills to synthesize and articulate business opportunity and customer value while still maintaining the comfort-level to dig into the details, as needed. The incumbent must have the confidence and scientific and medical device credibility to act as a thought partner for senior executives and to interact with external medical, scientific and industry leaders and market analysts.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES
     Chart the course and recommend organizational direction through analysis and vision
    o Builds credible immunotherapy strategies through strong critical thinking to achieve the desired vision and commercial outcome despite incomplete or ambiguous information. Demonstrates analytical thinking skills and the ability to solve problems, and develops programs with creativity and good judgment.
     Secure industry leadership via high-impact personal and organizational relationships
    o Identifies and builds strong relationships with key opinion leaders and key commercial immunotherapy developers to drive industry leading position and ensure successful adoption and evolution of products in the oncology and immunotherapy markets.
    o Builds and maintains knowledge about products and technologies that would be complementary or important to product offerings or pipeline in oncology and immunotherapy.
     Ensure products and services deliver exceptional value matched to customer needs
    o Leads activities to acquire, evaluate, store and disseminate business intelligence, including VOC market research, market trends, competitive intelligence, and academic and business literature.
    o Assesses and integrates customer needs and market trends within the context of product systems and business capabilities. Translates this assessment into effective marketing strategies, pricing recommendations and value propositions.
    o Screens potential business opportunities by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments.
     Partner to develop and deliver comprehensive and effective marketing strategies and tactics
    o Defines and drives immunotherapy and oncology positioning, value proposition, and messaging and through collaboration with other business areas and regional marketing colleagues, deploys high-impact programs.
    o Ensures high-impact marketing programs are delivered using an integrated approach that combines digital, content, event, and product marketing. Captures and analyzes metrics to improve ROI and optimize programs.
     Empower execution through cross business and cross functional collaboration
    o Cultivates strong cross functional relationships and collaborates with key functions (including R&D, new business development, regulatory, clinical, operations, geographic and corporate marketing, and sales) towards the successful development of the business area product pipeline.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

    Education
    Bachelor’s degree or, equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered. MBA preferred.

    Experience
    Minimum 10 years of experience with proven success in marketing and marketing management
    Exposure to oncology, immunotherapy, and apheresis preferred
    Demonstrated strategic agility, leadership, relationship building, and influence
