Responsibilities and Capabilities:
Summary
The Sr. Clinical Marketing and Education Manager will focus on driving physician adoption of
Endobronchial Valves for the treatment of severe emphysema. The role will develop
marketing programs targeting current and potential Valve users and referring
physicians, as well as training programs for both physician and field sales audiences. The role
is US-focused and will partner closely with sales, product management, digital marketing,
event marketing and marketing operations.
Responsibilities
• Develop messaging for treating physicians (pulmonologists and thoracic surgeons)
and referring physicians (primary care and pulmonologists) to communicate the value
of Valves clearly and consistently across multiple marketing channels
• Partner with creative agencies and marketing operations to develop physician-facing
collateral for use by the sales force
• Partner with digital, social, and events teams to deploy physician messaging across
multiple channels
• Plan and execute live or virtual KOL speaking events to inform, educate and motivate
physicians to adopt and utilize Valves
• Partner with events marketing team to plan and execute live and virtual society
conferences, including symposia and in-booth content
• Summarize and deliver clinical evidence updates to sales and target physician
audiences
• Develop and execute physician training programs for new and existing Valve
users
• Plan and execute sales training programs for new hires and advanced programs for
existing hires
• Partner with field based sales trainers to deliver quality sales training
• Conduct field visits to observe procedures and build relationships with current and
emerging physician key opinion leaders
• Build and maintain knowledge of the COPD clinical landscape, including key
publications, technologies, and practice patterns

Requirements:
• 10 years of professional experience, preferably in medical device marketing, training,
or sales
• At least 6 years of medical device marketing experience
• Experience working closely with physician KOLs to develop and execute marketing
and education programs
• Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and consistently across multiple
marketing channels
• Ability to travel 20-30% of the time
• Ability to visit hospital to interact with physician customers and observe procedures
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to develop and deliver compelling presentations to internal and external
audiences, including company leadership, physicians, and sales representatives
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to develop and execute programs with
limited managerial oversite
