  • The Marketing Manager (MM) is responsible for managing and contributing to the continued double digit growth for an exciting business development platform within this companies fastest growing business unit. In additional to the day to day management of the strategic and tactical implementation of all product programs, He / She will be an integral partner in developing and executing business strategies in a transformative market segment that has an immediate impact on improved patient outcomes. The Marketing Manager identifies new product and business opportunities that will expand the segment, and will be called upon to demonstrate leadership in all aspects of the marketing mix related to the product line. The Marketing Manager leads all business aspects of NPD activities for his/her business responsibility, and will be responsible for creating a collaborative environment with cross functional partners to ensure excellence in delivery and execution.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES including the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Develop market competency to become a clinical Subject Matter Expert
    • Develop and drive the execution of both the strategy and marketing plan for product or business segment of responsibility
    • Propose and execute on line extensions and new products to better serve segment needs and optimize sales potential
    • Lead and recruiting for quantitative VOC to identify unique insights in the market that lead to product pipeline strategies
    • Effectively manage forecasting and supply chain
    • Illustrate design control and project management expertise
    • Establish relationships with key opinion leaders
    • Strong initiative and accountability to self and others
    • Leverage industry events to maximize investments
    • Establish a brand for yourself as a reliable, highly effective and positive collaborator by management teammates and cross-functional partners

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Proven leadership experience in directing new product development and leading project teams
    • Proven leadership experience in directing successful product launches: including writing and executing the marketing plan.
    • Experience analyzing business opportunities and developing strategies
    • Experience as the primary author on sales collaterals and launch campaigns with expertise in creating compelling messaging and ensure brand consistency
    • Medical electronics and diagnostics experience preferred
    • Experience entering/developing new markets preferred
    • Analytical ability

    • Ability to build relationships with internal and external customers
    • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
    • Attention to details
    • Ability to handle complexity and manage several tasks at one time
    • Computer knowledge and proficiency in software programs such as Excel and PowerPoint

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

    • BA minimum; MBA preferred
    • Minimum of 8 years experience in marketing, preferably in the field of medical devices; combined with sales experience is preferred
    • Proven experience in developing and launching new products
    • Experience analyzing business opportunities and developing strategies
    • Experience leading project teams
